Job Description
Lambda Education Pty Ltd Trading as Institute of Science Management and Technology (ISMT) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO Coded: 45032) with campus in St Leonards, NSW 2065. We are situated close to public transport. ISMT is looking to start corporate training focussing key leadership skills to be delivered in our classrooms. The core leadership skills will be delivered by integrating latest theories and pragmatic approaches to leadership and management. Our learning cohort will comprise middle managers and supervisors looking to upskill in operational planning, change management and team management. We are looking for passionate individuals to deliver (train, assess) the following qualifications: 1) BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management 2) BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management We aim to deliver the same qualifications to international students (subject to CRICOS approval). The target applicant MUST possess current knowledge and skills pertaining to operational planning, change management and team management. Moreover, he must possess emotional intelligence and strong coaching and interpersonal skills. The individual must have passion for VET teaching and assessing. WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU Evidential Requirements: 1) Current industry experience in leadership & management sectors (e.g., industry currency can be demonstrated with documentary evidence relating to consulting experience, industry association, professional development, networking, corporate management, leadership, peak-body association, publishing in leadership & management sectors, part-time management role) 2) BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management / BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (i.e., to be demonstrated by the qualification certification) 3) TAE 40110 / TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (i.e., to be demonstrated by the qualification certification) 4) Current knowledge of principles and assessment, principles of learning and rules of evidence (e.g., documentary evidence capturing professional development seminars, peak-body newsletters, publishing, recent TAE40116 completion, undertaking higher degree in education such as Diploma of TAE, Bachelor of Education). Required Skills & Knowledge: • Knowledge and skills required to map, review and contextualise training and assessment materials as per principles of assessment and rules of evidence (i.e., job-interview will contain a brief trial). • Knowledge of VET Sector requirements (scope involving training and assessment) • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication • Ability to create session / learning / assessment plans • Must be confident in delivering training to middle managers & entrepreneurs (e.g., prior or current work experience in leadership & management roles) • Ability to interact with learners and staff from diverse backgrounds. Postion is to start as casual subject to Part Time
