We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced trainer who can use their recent experience in the health industry to engage and support school-based students to achieve Certificate II and III qualifications. We are seeking trainers who can deliver the following qualifications: - Certificate II in Health Support Services - Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance - Certificate III in Individual Support - Certificate III in Sterilisation Services This position will be based from our Beenleigh office and will require travel throughout the Brisbane regions delivering training in High Schools (a work vehicle is included for use during business hours). To be successful in this position you must: - Have a genuine passion for building opportunities for young people; - Be resilient and understand that some students require extra support and mentoring; - Understand that the students will not always fit the mold and you will need to work around their strengths; - Be a dynamic trainer with the ability to engage all learner types and level; - Be enthusiastic, energetic and highly motivated; - Have a can-do attitude with the sense of fun; - Great time management and communication skills; - Excellent presentation; - High level of attention to detail; - Strong computer literacy. You will also need to: - Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential); - Hold vocational qualifications in health at a Certificate III level or higher (University Qualifications highly regarded); - Have 2-3 years recent health industry experience (nursing, aged/disability care, individual support); - Hold a current driver’s license; -Hold a current Blue Card or willingness to apply for one; If you are an experienced health trainer and think you can make a difference in a young person’s life, then please APPLY now by attaching your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
