Is ResourceCall a labour hire company?
No. ResourceCall is simply a connection service. RTOs search our site to find skilled VET workers that match the needs of their required position and make contact directly with the worker through ResourceCall.
Does it cost anything to join ResourceCall?

Creating and using a Profile on ResourceCall
What is a ResourceCall Profile?
A ResourceCall Profile is a brief summary of your qualifications and training experience that acts as a marketing tool to employers searching for trainers with a specific training skill – it’s like a summary of your Resume/ CV. We provide a super easy template that only takes a few minutes to complete and you can update it at any time. To create a Profile, join ResourceCall here.
Who can see my Profile?
Your ResourceCall Profile remains private and only sections such as your First Name, Introduction, Qualifications and Location are visible to Employers when they search for training resources with a specific skill set. We do not display personal contact information in a Search Result and we do not release personal contact information to an employer until you advise us that you are interested and available to accept a Work Call-Out.
How do I create a ResourceCall Profile?
You must register to create your ResourceCall profile. You can register or log in to ResourceCall by clicking Register Now or Login from the homepage, or by clicking here. We’ll ask you for a few details about yourself that help employers find you and also for your email address, password and name to create your account. And you’re done! Your Profile is now available and employers can find your skill set in a Search. You can access, preview and update your Profile at any time by logging in and clicking on My Call-Out Profile.
How do I manage my Account?
You can manage your account, view and edit your Profile and view Call-Outs at any time by logging in to your Account from the Homepage.
What should I put in the Minimum Rate section of my Profile?
We receive a lot of enquiries about the minimum rate section. Rates vary depending on the industry you are in, your skill level and experience and the demand for your skills. We always suggest doing a bit of research by talking to other people in the industry or reviewing sites such as PayScale Australia to determine the approximate market value for your role. We also recommend that you put in a rate that you are comfortable with but add “Negotiable” in the comments section if you are prepared to be flexible or are open to opportunities with a different pay rate.
Searching for Trainers
How do I search for trainers?
It’s easy and you don’t have to register or be logged in to search for trainers with the skill set you need! Simply type in the qualification or course you are looking for in the search area on the Work Call-Out page and the location of your work and hit the "Search" button. Potential trainers who match your needs will appear in a list.
What if I can’t find trainers with the skill set I need?
ResourceCall has thousands of registered trainers and VET sector resources and we’re growing every day. We’ve also got a strong network in the Vocational Education Training sector, so we’re pretty confident that most times, you’ll be able to find trainers with the skill set that you need. If you do find a skill set or location that doesn’t have the trainers you need, you can post a job for FREE on our Job Board and we’ll share this with our ResourceCall & VET community. We’ll also work to build up our trainers in that area ASAP.
What is a Work Call-Out?
A Work Call-Out is exactly what it sounds like. A quick Call-Out to skilled trainers who meet the urgent training needs of an employer. The most common Call-Out is the need for a skilled trainer to fill in for a trainer who is no longer able to run a planned course or session. A Call-Out can be for a few hours work, a few months or a few years! It all depends on what the employer needs. Call-Outs are sent out immediately via SMS and trainers can view details and respond all from their mobile phone. It’s fast, efficient and a great way to connect talented trainers to businesses in need.

How do I send a Work Call-Out?
You must register to create and send a Work Call-Out. You can register or log in to ResourceCall by clicking Join Now or Login from the employer homepage, or by clicking here. We’ll ask you for your email address, password and name to create your account. Then you can shortlist the trainers you need, select as many as you’d like to contact and use our super easy template to provide a few key details about the Call-Out. It only takes a few minutes and your Call-Out is out there!
How do I receive and respond to a Work Call-Out?
Call-Outs are sent immediately to selected trainers by SMS. The SMS contains a link to the Call-Out details and you can view the details and respond all from your mobile phone in a matter of minutes. You can also log in to the site and view Call-Out details and respond from your Account. We’ll advise the employer, on your behalf, of your response. You can keep track of all your Call-Out responses in your personal dashboard when logged in.
How do employers contact me & what if I’m not available for this Call-Out?
When you advise us through our site that you are available and interested in a Work Call-Out, we release your contact details to the employer and they will contact you directly to finalise the arrangement. If you advise us that you are not available at this time, no worries, we’ll let the employer know on your behalf and your contact details are not released. You’ll always be on the list for the next Search and you can keep track of your Call-Out responses in your personal dashboard when you are logged in.

How do I create a Job Post?
Creating a Job Post is easy! Simply click on the Post a Job for FREE, register and you can post your job straight away in our simple and easy to use template.
Does it cost anything to post a job?
No posting a job on ResourceCall is 100% FREE. We are all about connecting skilled VET workers with RTOs and employers.
How long is my job post active for?
Your job post is active for 90 days after you post it. You can re-post it as many times as you like. NO charges and NO 30 day limits here!
Can I close my Job Post?
Yes! You can close your job post at any time through your Account Dashboard. You are in control and it doesn’t cost you anything!
How do I search the Job Board?
Easy! Simply scroll down the page on our homepage and click on the "Go to VET sector Job Board" or click here to view the Job Board now. Then you can search by occupation and/ or location. Job Posts that match your search will be displayed under your search query. Click on "View Details" to read more about the opportunities that interest you. It’s free to search and apply.
How do I apply to a Job Post?
When you see a job opportunity that you’d like to apply for on our Job Board, simply log in or register with your email address to be able to view the application and contact instructions and you can take it from there
What is the PD Shop?
The PD Shop is an online search facility that brings professional development (PD) courses from some of Australia’s leading PD providers into one spot and allows you to search through and find PD courses that match your needs! Search now
How do I search for a PD course?
It’s easy! Click on the PD Shop on the home page. You can search by PD course Type, Category and location as well as if the course is free. PD courses that match your needs will be displayed under your search query. Click on “View Details” to read more about the PD courses that interest you and follow the “See further information” link to register with the PD Provider. It’s free, quick & easy!
What do the different “Types” of courses mean in the PD Shop search functionality?
The “Types” are a way to search for the different styles that a PD course can be presented in. You can choose from:
- Webinar – a seminar conducted over the internet
- Workshop – a face to face session usually held in a classroom
- Forum – such as seminars, industry events or conferences that you attend in person
- Online Training – a course with subjects, and usually an assessment, that you complete online over a period of time.
The PD providers choose which type their PD courses fall into.
How do I book & pay for a PD course?
When you find a course that you’d like to register for, simply click on the “See further information” at the bottom of the PD course detail page and follow the link to the PD Providers website where you will find the registration and payment details. All registrations and payments for courses are managed through the PD providers website.

It’s simple! Click on the “Room Hire” tab on the top of our “Employer/ RTO” homepage and follow the link to “Search Room Hire Board Now!” You can search by location, room layout, minimum capacity, rental type and additional requirements such as internet access, car parking, disabled access and catering to list a few! Available rooms that match your search will be displayed under your search query. Click on "View Details" to read more about the room listings that interest you. It’s FREE to search and contact hirers.
How do I create a room hire advertisement?
Simply click on “Advertise your room Now!”, register or log in, select the advertising pack that suits your needs and create your ad straight away in our simple and easy to use template. You can enhance your ad by adding pictures and Google maps. Your ad is live as soon as you hit submit!
How much does it cost to advertise a room on your Room Hire Board?

How long is my room hire advertisement active for?
Your advertisement is active as soon as you post it and it remains active for the period of time you select from our three options. To learn more about these options please click here.
Can I edit, close or pause my advertisement?
Yes! You can edit, close or pause your advertisement at any time through your Account Dashboard. If you pause your advertisement the expiry date of your original advertisement does not change. You can reopen a paused advertisement any time as long as it falls within the original advertising period (that is, before the expiry date shown in your Account Dashboard).
Can I renew my advertisement?
Yes, you can renew your advertisement at any time through your Account Dashboard.
